There are more than 20 theme parks to be found in the counties of Murcia and Alicante. The area is, therefore, a paradise for families with children. For example, there is the Safari Park Terra Natura in Murcia spread over an area of 165,445 m2 with more than 300 animals, or a water park in the area; Aqua Natura.
Next to Valencia, there is also the water park Aquopolis. This park has numerous slides, children’s pools and an imitation beach.
The theme park Terra Mitica can be found in neighbouring Benidorm. This park is split into five themes; Egypt, Greece, Rome, Iberia and the Balearics. All attractions, shows, shops and cafes are based on the locations’ theme. You can also enjoy roller coasters for older children, but younger children are not forgotten either. All the theme parks can be reached within 1 – 2 hours’ drive.
